UGST Symposium of Apostolic Pentecostal Scholars

You are invited to participate in the next UGST Symposium of Apostolic Pentecostal Scholars, to be held on the campus of Urshan University in Wentzville, Missouri, October 15–16, 2026.

The mission of the Symposium is “to provide a collaborative venue for engagement in the diverse fields of Apostolic scholarship and their application within the life of the church.” Your involvement is essential to the fulfillment of this mission!

This year we are especially interested in research addressing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the theological, pastoral, and ethical challenges and opportunities it presents within the life of the church.

As always, paper proposals reflecting recent research in practical theology, ministry, biblical studies, biblical theology, history, or other related fields are welcome. Please send paper proposals of 250–500 words to David Johnson (seminarydean@urshan.edu) by August 7, 2026. Final paper submissions will be due October 9, 2026.

For the first time this year, we will also accept poster presentations in the above research areas. Undergraduate juniors and seniors as well as faculty and independent scholars are invited to submit poster proposals to Dr. Dan Littles (onlinedean@urshan.edu). More information on the poster session will be coming soon.
